toronto clothing

SBC x JVGBD

After a few months in development, I'm incredibly humbled to announce I've been hand-picked by French street wear brand JVGBD. We worked together on a few T-Shirt designs using some of my favourite Toronto photos I have taken. I am very proud to be working with this international label and to be one of the select few to represent Canada.

JVGBD is the result of scrupulous work of three young designers who for nearly three years are bent to produce a perfect interplay between image and clothing.

Their process of their own, consists of hard-won techniques during countless sleepless nights spent experimenting in their French workshop.

Currently you can find two of my designs on their website!

I am very excited to see where this leads to!

If you would like to purchase one you can click here to be directed to my shirts!

Thank you for all the continued support.

Collabo : SBC x 6ixside

After recently doing a collaboration with 6ixside Clothing, I wanted peeps to know about where it started. I decided to chat with the founder of 6ixside, Richard R. It went a little something like this..

Cam : Introduce yourself!

Richard : My name is Richard, 26 year old entrepreneur from Toronto, Canada. Born and raised in the city, lived in the westend most of my life, love the culture and the diversity this city has to offer.

Cam : How did 6ixside come together?

Richard : The term was coined by Drake and Jimmyfromthe6 last summer, referring to Toronto/416 as "the 6". I knew the city would love that reference just as how Tdot caught on. I liked the idea and saw a opportunity to create a brand, a love for the shared through a new meaning and reference. I created the logo actually weeks before Drake dropped his ovo line, but did some final tweeks and a sample shirt made. Started to share it through instagram and see the response, then created more shirts and the story unfolds.

Cam : Are you surprised with the rapid success?

Richard : The rapid growth and following surprises me, but at the same time people from Toronto love to represent our city. If this new wave of "the 6" is here, you can assure the people of Toronto will let the world know who we are.

Cam : Do you have any further plans for different gear?

Richard : Yes. We have a few different designs coming up and some new items for spring 2015. With the addition of snapbacks, tank tops, sweatpants and shorts and much more.

Cam : Where do you see 6ixside in the near future?

Richard : 6ixside Clothing will be hosting a few pop up shops in the city through 2015. First one will be at Ryerson University on March 18th. Some other festivals throughout the summer and a exclusive one weekend pop up shop in the hear of the city.
